Our story
The Open Mind Project is a women-led youth-driven organization that is fighting for accessible mental health. We fight for real solutions, not performative politics, by amplifying young voices, building community, and advocating for lasting change. Together, we turn awareness into action
Our history
The Open Mind Project began in 2025 as a small but passionate effort between a few girls who simply wanted to make a difference in their community. What started as conversations about the issues we saw around us—inequality, lack of awareness, and systems that felt unfair—quickly grew into something more purposeful. We came together to share ideas, challenge one another’s thinking, and figure out realistic ways to create change rather than just talk about it. Over time, that shared vision transformed into a real organization rooted in advocacy, leadership, and action. Although we are still growing, we are steadily building our presence, strengthening our voice, and making our mission known within our community, determined to stand up for what is right and encourage others to think openly and critically about the world around them.
